We at Growth and Development Empowerment Int. are involved in a project ‘Sponsor To Teach A Child. ‘This project will serve to help improve Literacy and also to help reduce crime. Therefore we need your help in sponsoring some children.
Objective:
The reason for this project is to empower children who need help with reading, spelling and pronunciation of words. This will equip the children with the necessary literacy skills required to move forward. This for sure is one way to help reduce crime in a society.
Target Beneficiaries:
Students who need help with reading and spelling, especially from low income and poor families who can’t afford extra lessons for children, slow learners and the list goes on.
Our goal this year is to know that at least 3000 children, or 250 children for the month, gets sponsored by giving him or her, the opportunity to be able to read and spell better.
Justification:
Lots of students leave school being unable to read well or can’t even read at all. Some students because of the lack of being able to read leave school or drop out of school.
They fearing that they will not get the job that they want, have no papers or can’t read may cause them to adapt to a life of crime, influenced by their pears and thinking that it’s their only way out.
Also presently in our schools system, some children are unable to sit the common entrance exam because of the same problem! They can’t read. You and I can help by providing them with the foundational tools and information that they need in order for them to succeed in reading.
This is how you Can Help:
Our target this year is to help at least 3000 students for the year, that’s an average of 250 students per month. You can help by sponsoring as many students as possible, giving each child an opportunity to read and spell better.
The sponsoring contribution per child to receive the Simple Learning Series package, attend an educational workshop and to receive a printed T-shirt only cost $200. From the list below you can choose the number of students that you are willing to sponsor.
